In the present investigation, the authors derive necessary and sufficient conditions for spirallikeness and convex spirallikeness of a suitably normalized meromorphic p-valent function in the punctured unit disk, using convolution. Also we give an application of our result to obtain a convolution condition for a class of meromorphic functions defined by a linear operator.

We study solutions to convolution equations for functions with discrete support in R, a special case being functions with support in the integer points. The Fourier transform of a solution can be extended to a holomorphic function in some domains in C, and we determine possible domains in terms of the properties of the convolution operator.

Making use of a linear operator, which is defined here by means of the Hadamard product (or convolution), we introduce a class Qp(a, c;h) of analytic and multivalent functions in the open unit disk. An inclusion relation and a convolution property for the class Qp(a, c;h) are presented. Some integral-preserving properties are also given.
