در بررسیهای انجام شده در خصوص شناسایی عوامل کنترل کننده طبیعی شبپره شمشاد در جنگلهای هیرکانی در بهار 1397، مگس Compsilura concinnata (Meigen)، از خانواده Tachinidae به عنوان پارازیتویید آفت از ذخیرهگاه شمشاد چشمه بلبل منطقه بندرگز واقع در استان گلستان، جمعآوری شد. این گونه به عنوان اولین گزارش پارازیتیسمی شبپره شمشاد از ایران میباشد.
