In this paper, based on the homogeneous balance principle and two improved projective Riccati Equations, exact solutions to the general form of BBM equation and the generalized BBM-Burgers equation with nonlinear terms of any order are obtained, which include several kinds of solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions. Some of them are found for the first time.

The probabilistic approach is used for constructing special layer methods to solve the Cauchy problem for semilinear parabolic equations with small parameter. Despite their probabilistic nature these methods are nevertheless deterministic. The algorithms are tested by simulating the Burgers equation with small viscosity and the generalized KPP-equation with a small parameter.

In this paper we obtain symmetry reductions and exact solutions of a Generalized Benjamin-BonaMahony-Burgers equation using the potential symmetries method.
