In this paper we propose a precise and robust watermarking scheme based on the technique called amplitude modulation. A watermark is embedded in a color image by modifying the pixel values in the blue channel. At the receiver, the watermark bits are retrieved using a prediction system, by a linear combination of nearby pixel values around the embedded pixels, and without having the original ima...

Abstract—This work deals with the analysis of the impact of additive noise on the geometrical features of the space vector shape on the complex plane. The space vector shape is of great importance in the power quality analysis of modern three-phase power systems since its geometrical features are closely related to the voltage supply quality. In case of voltage sag or swell the space vector sha...

In this paper, anew algorithm which is based on geometrical moments and local binary patterns (LBP) for content based image retrieval (CBIR) is proposed. In geometrical moments, each vector is compared with the all other vectors for edge map generation. The same concept is utilized at LBP calculation which is generating nine LBP patterns from a given 3x3 pattern. Finally, nine LBP histograms ar...

This paper discusses an extension to the Inverse Perspective Mapping geometrical transform to the processing of stereo images and presents the calibration method used on the ARGO autonomous vehicle. The article features also an example of application in the automotive field, in which the stereo Inverse Perspective Mapping helps to speed up the process.

We give geometrical conditions, which guarantee the existence of a diffeomorphism in order to transform a nonlinear system without inputs into a canonical normal form depending on its output. Moreover we extend our results to a class of systems with inputs. We end this paper by some examples and its simulations to highlight the proposed algo rithm.

This paper deals with a normal form of a class of nonlinear dynamical systems. This form enables us to design a reduced-order observer for a class of nonlinear dynamical system. Necessary and sufficient geometrical conditions for the existence of a coordinate change to transform a given singular dynamical system into such normal form are also given.

A class of photoacoustic acquisition geometries in n is considered such that the spherical mean transform admits an exact filtered back projection reconstruction formula. The reconstruction is interpreted as a time reversion mirror that reproduces exactly an arbitrary source distribution in the cavity. A series of examples of non-uniqueness of the inverse potential problem is constructed based ...

A new optical transformation that combines geometrical coordinate transformations with the conventional optical Fourier transform is described. The resultant transformations are invariant to both scale and rotational changes in the input object or function. Extensions of these operations to optical pattern recognition and initial experimental demonstrations are also presented.
