In this article, we investigate the generalized Kawahara–KdV system. A new topological approach is applied to prove existence of at least one classical solution and two non-negative solutions. The arguments are based upon recent theoretical results.
This work is devoted to present Massera-type theorems for the Kawahara system, a higher order dispersive equation, posed in bounded domain. Precisely, thanks some properties of semigroup and decays solutions this we are able prove its periodic, quasi-periodic almost periodic.
The linear stability problem for solitary wave states of the Kawahara—or fifthorder KdV-type—equation and its generalizations is considered. A new formulation of the stability problem in terms of the symplectic Evans matrix is presented. The formulation is based on a multisymplectification of the Kawahara equation, and leads to a new characterization of the basic solitary wave, including change...
In the present article, we construct the exact traveling wave solutions of nonlinear PDEs in mathematical physics via the (1 + 1) dimensional modified Kawahara equation by using the following two methods: (i) A further improved ( ′ G )expansion method, where G = G(ξ) satisfies the auxiliary ordinary differential equation [G′(ξ)]2 = aG2(ξ) + bG4(ξ) + cG6(ξ), where ξ = x − V t while a, b, c and V...
in this article, we apply the multiquadric radial basis function (rbf) interpo-lation method for nding the numerical approximation of traveling wave solu-tions of the kawahara equation. the scheme is based on the crank-nicolsonformulation for space derivative. the performance of the method is shown innumerical examples.
We study orbital stability of solitary waves of least energy for a nonlinear Kawahara type equation (Benney-Luke-Paumond) that models long water waves with small amplitude, from the analytic and numerical viewpoint. We use a second-order spectral scheme to approximate these solutions and illustrate their unstable behavior within a certain regime of wave velocity.

Both the sirtuins and certain transcription factors of the NF-kappaB/Rel family control aging-associated changes in gene expression. Kawahara et al. (2009) now show a requirement in mice for the sirtuin SIRT6 in dampening NF-kappaB-dependent gene expression, thus unveiling a potential link between inflammation, aging, and metabolism.
