In this paper, we investigate the maximal Cohen-Macaulay property of tensor products modules, and then give criteria for projectivity modules in terms vanishing Ext modules. One applications shows that Auslander-Reiten conjecture holds normal rings.

Let $(R,underline{m})$ be a commutative Noetherian local ring and $M$ be a non-zero finitely generated $R$-module. We show that if $R$ is almost Cohen-Macaulay and $M$ is perfect with finite projective dimension, then $M$ is an almost Cohen-Macaulay module. Also, we give some necessary and sufficient condition on $M$ to be an almost Cohen-Macaulay module, by using $Ext$ functors.

We prove that sequentially Cohen-Macaulay rings in positive characteristic, as well as sequentially Cohen-Macaulay Stanley-Reisner rings in any characteristic, have trivial Lyubeznik table. Some other configurations of Lyubeznik tables are also provided depending on the deficiency modules of the ring.
