measuring sensitivity of hydraulic structures is considered as an approach for evaluation of water projects performance, due to lower distribution efficiency in irrigation and drainage project schemes. sensitivity analysis approach for irrigation structures is one of flow analysis methods which are developed in recent years in order to measure the behavior of flow in hydraulic structures in an ...
In this paper we propose the Dynamic Weighting A* (DWA*) search algorithm for solving MAP problems in Bayesian networks. By exploiting asymmetries in the distribution of MAP variables, the algorithm is able to greatly reduce the search space and offer excellent performance both in terms of accuracy and ef ciency.
This paper is concerned with the dynamical stability analysis for almost periodic solution of memristive neural networks with time-varying delays. Under the framework of Filippov solutions, by applying the inequality analysis techniques, the existence and asymptotically almost periodic behavior of solutions are discussed. Based on the differential inclusions theory and Lyapunov functional appro...
This paper deals with the uniqueness and stability problem for uncertain bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying delays. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach and free-weighting matrices method, new delay-dependent stability criteria with two classes of system uncertainties are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By using the ...
The paper is concerned with stability analysis for a class of impulsive Hopfield neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters and time-varying delays. The jumping parameters considered here are generated from a continuous-time discrete-state homogenous Markov process. By employing a Lyapunov functional approach, new delay-dependent stochastic stability criteria are obtained in terms of lin...

This paper presents a conceptual model to allow communities self-detecting fake and inappropriate news on social network sites based on collective intelligence and inspired by Viable Systems Approach. The model is grounded on an extension of the Gruber model (on which Collective Knowlegde Systems are based) which incorporates a Consensus Method typically used in the Group Decision Making.
Egocentered networks are common in social science research. Here, the unit of analysis is a respondent (ego) together with his/her personal network (alters). Usually, several variables are measured to describe the relationship between egos and alters. In this paper, the aim is to estimate the reliability and validity of the averages of these measures by the multitrait-multimethod (MTMM) approac...
General models of network navigation must contain a deterministic or drift component, encouraging the agent to follow routes of least cost, as well as a random or diffusive component, enabling free wandering. This paper proposes a thermodynamic formalism involving two path functionals, namely an energy functional governing the drift and an entropy functional governing the diffusion. A freely ad...
We present a functional approach, based on the ACL2 logic, for the specification of system on a chip communication architectures. Our decomposition of the communications allows the method to be modular for both system definition and validation. When performed in the context of the ACL2 logic, all the definitions and theorems are not only reusable, but also constitute an executable and proven va...
