Conduction disturbances have been documented after correction of ventricular septal defects by the ventricular route. Recently, repair of the ventricular septal defect has been through the right atrium to overcome damage to the conduction system and a right ventriculotomy. Thirty-nine children with ventricular septal defects under the age of 5 years were operated upon by the atrial route (group...

For intercity highway with many branches, the video data for each monitoring node is very large and it is unlikely to fuse these data without time synchronization. In this paper an object-based video reconstruction approach is presented for route-oriented tasks of intercity highway monitoring with many branches using low cost distributed video capturing devices installed on the roadside posts. ...

The multiple vehicle traveling purchaser problem (MVTPP) consists of simultaneously selecting suppliers and routing a fleet homogeneous vehicles to purchase different products at the selected so that all product demands are fulfilled purchasing costs minimized. We consider variants MVTPP in which capacity can become binding demand for each is one unit. Corresponding solution algorithms from lit...

The short interval between the collecting and distribution of zakat al-fitr is a recurring issue. As result, ‘amil does not always pay attention to ideal route, leading in inefficient transportation expenditures. This study aims minimize amount vehicle mileage that affects fuel consumption. branch-and-bound algorithm was employed overcome route optimization problem by proposing shortest circuit...

We describe models and exact solutions approaches for an integrated aircraft fleeting and routing problem arising at TunisAir. Given a schedule of flights to be flown, the problem consists of determining a minimum cost route assignment for each aircraft so as to cover each flight by exactly one aircraft while satisfying maintenance activity constraints. We investigate two tailored approaches fo...

[1] The existence of a new route that draws relatively cold waters from the Pacific Ocean to the North Atlantic via the Tasman outflow is presented. The new route materialises with comparable magnitude and characteristics in three independent numerical realisations of the global ocean circulation. Its realism is supported by hydrographic data interpolated via an inverse model. The ‘‘Tasman leak...

We propose a branch-and-cut algorithm for the VRPSPD where the constraints that assure that the capacities are not exceeded in the middle of a route are applied in a lazy fashion. The algorithm was tested in 87 instances with 50-200 customers, finding improved lower bounds and several new optimal solutions.

We present high signal-to-noise integrated spectra of 24 star clusters in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), obtained using the FLAIR spectrograph at the UK Schmidt telescope. The spectra have been placed onto the Lick/IDS system in order to test the calibration of Simple Stellar Population (SSP) models (Maraston & Thomas 2000; Kurth, Fritz-von Alvensleben & Fricke 1999). We have compared the SS...

The purpose of this study is to carry out a thorough investigation of the changes in morphology of the red giant branch (RGB) of Galactic globular clusters (GGC) as a function of metallicity, in the V, I bands. To this aim, two key points are developed in the course of the analysis. (a) Using our photometric V, I database for Galactic globular clusters (the largest homogeneous data sample to da...
