As voltage decreases d.c. condctivity of a Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid wire collapses to a small value determined by the length of the wire and its contacts with the leads. In condition that voltage drop (V ) mostly occurs across a tunnel barrier inside the wire the tunneling density of states and, hence, the differential conductivity are shown to exhibit an interference structure resulted from t...

The delay per unit length of on-chip wires, as determined by a diffusive RC-limited response and as measured relative to gate delays, approximately doubles every technology generation as wire resistances per unit length increase and gate delays decrease with scaling. Furthermore, these wire delays (D) grow quadratically with wire length, D ° RwireCwireL. Wire bandwidths, which are inversely pro...

abstract some issues such as dehydration, local and chronological disproportion of rainfall, low productivity of water in agricultural sector, increasing demand for agricultural products due to increase in population participate with doughtiness are the most challenges of agricultural water. these factors caused water to be as one of the important and scarce inputs is agricultural products. the...

We have calculated the effect of the electron(hole)±confined LO-phonon interactions on the exci-ton binding energy in rectangular quantum-well wires (QWW) as a function of the length of one side of the wire for several values of the length of the other side. Our results indicate that the polaronic contribution to the binding increases as the confinement length increases.

We present a novel technique for datapath allocation, which incorporates interconnection area and delay estimates based on dynamic oorplanning. In this approach, datapath area is minimized by minimizing the number of wires, routing tracks, and multiplexers, while performance is optimized by minimizing wire length. The simultaneous optimization of these physical cost metrics allows the system to...

Given a signal net N = s; 1; ;n to be the set of nodes, with s the source and the remaining nodes sinks, an MRDPT (minimum-cost rectilinear Steiner distance-preserving tree) has the property that the length of every source to sink path is equal to the rectilinear distance between the source and sink. The minimum-cost rectilinear Steiner distance-preserving tree minimizes the total wire length w...

Finite length of a one channel wire results in crossover from a Tomonaga-Luttinger to Fermi liquid behavior with lowering energy scale. In condition that voltage drop (V) mostly occurs across a tunnel barrier inside the wire we found coefficients of temperature/voltage expansion of low energy conduc-tance as a function of constant of interaction, right and left traversal times. At higher voltag...

in this paper, based on equations of lateral vibrations of wires, a non contact method for measuring instantaneous tension in a wire is introduced. the lateral vibration of the string is measured using an eddy current transducer and is sent to a computer. this signal is then imported to suitable software for fast fourier transform (fft) processing. the first natural frequency of the string is c...

We propose a net-based hierarchical macrocell placement such that “net placement” dictates the cell placement. The proposed approach has four phases. 1) Net clustering and net-level floorplanning phase: A weighted net dependency graph is built from the input register-transfer-level netlist. Clusters of nets are then formed by clique partitioning and a net-cluster level floorplan is obtained by ...
