In the title compound, C(17)H(18)N(2)O(5)S, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 68.59 (10)° and the C-S-N-C torsion angle is -81.84 (18)°. The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond, generating an S(6) ring.
