سه گونه جدید از تیره گاوزبان به نامهای cynoglossum semmanicum از مرکز و paracaryum khorassanicum از شمال شرقی و solenanthus bakhtiaricus از جنوب غربی ایران نام گذاری و معرفی می گردند. گونه های نزدیک به گونه های جدید مورد توجه قرار گرفته و اختلافات آنها مورد بررسی قرار می گیرد.
در بین نمونههای جمعآوری شده از فلات اوستیورت از کاراکالپاکستان (ازبکستان) گونههای Ceratophyllum submersum (Ceratophyllaceae) و Argusia sibirica (Boraginaceae) شناسائی گردیدند. این گونه ها به همراه یک تصویر نمونه هرباریومی در این مقاله گزارش میشوند.
