In this paper I investigate how well simple power law expansion fits observational data in comparison to the standard $\Lambda$CDM model. analyze a set consisting of cosmic chronometer, ruler, and candle measurements, finding that model provides better fit most combinations these than ansatz.

The mixing of magmas is a common phenomenon in explosive eruptions. Concentration variance is a useful metric of this process and its decay (CVD) with time is an inevitable consequence during the progress of magma mixing. In order to calibrate this petrological/volcanological clock we have performed a time-series of high temperature experiments of magma mixing. The results of these experiments ...

Abstract Deep-sea sediments rich in rare earth elements and yttrium (REY) are promising mineral resources that believed to be associated with the burial of fish debris. However, nature REY enrichment is poorly understood, part due a lack robust age constraints. We report bioapatite U-Pb ages from an Ocean Drilling Program (Leg 199, Hole 1218A) core REY-rich sedimentary Pacific Ocean, which yiel...

Events occurring within the first 10 million years of the Solar System's approximately 4.5 billion-year history, such as formation of the first solids, accretion, and differentiation of protoplanetary bodies, have determined the evolutionary course of our Solar System and the planetary bodies within it. The application of high-resolution chronometers based on short-lived radionuclides is critic...
