When regular regions are discovered in the parameter space of a system, where the parameter might be an external field applied to the Hydrogen atom, it usually indicates the existence of new (approximate) integrals of motion, and consequently quantum numbers [1]. In studies of many–body systems, the large number of degrees of freedom generally precludes one from using methods introduced in simp...
this article presents an analytic approach to study admissibility conditions related to classical full wavelet systems over finite fields using tools from computational harmonic analysis and theoretical linear algebra. it is shown that for a large class of non-zero window signals (wavelets), the generated classical full wavelet systems constitute a frame whose canonical dual are classical full ...

We perform a deformation quantization of the classical isotropic rigid rotator. The resulting quantum system is not invariant under the usual SU(2)×SU(2) chiral symmetry, but instead SUq−1(2)× SUq(2). The classical isotropic rotator is known to be invariant under SU(2) × SU(2) chiral transformations. In ref. [1] a new Hamiltonian formulation of the isotropic rotator was found where the left and...
All coboundary Lie bialgebras and their corresponding Poisson–Lie structures are constructed for the oscillator algebra generated by {N,A+, A−,M}. Quantum oscillator algebras are derived from these bialgebras by using the Lyakhovsky and Mudrov formalism and, for some cases, quantizations at both algebra and group levels are obtained, including their universal R–matrices.

General guidelines for constructing a quantum theory of charged-particle beam optics starting ab initio from the basic equations of quantum mechanics, appropriate to the situation under study. In the context of spin-12 particles, these guidelines are used starting with the Dirac equation. The spinor theory just constructed is used to obtain the transfer maps for normal and skew magnetic quadrup...
This paper presents a geometric description on Lie algebroids of Lagrangian systems subject to nonholonomic constraints. The Lie algebroid framework provides a natural generalization of classical tangent bundle geometry. We define the notion of nonholonomically constrained system, and characterize regularity conditions that guarantee that the dynamics of the system can be obtained as a suitable...
The unit sphere S can be identified with the unitary group SU(2). Under this identification the unit sphere can be considered as a non-commutative Lie group. The commutation relations for the vector fields of the corresponding Lie algebra define a 2-step sub-Riemannian manifold. We study sub-Riemannian geodesics on this sub-Riemannian manifold making use of the Hamiltonian formalism and solving...
Commencing with a brief survey of Lie-group theory and diierential equations evolving on Lie groups, we describe a number of numerical algorithms designed to respect Lie-group structure: Runge{Kutta{Munthe-Kaas schemes, Fer and Magnus expansions. This is followed by complexity analysis of Fer and Magnus expansions, whose conclusion is that for order four, six and eight an appropriately discreti...
