Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common type of cutaneous Tcell lymphoma. The diagnosis of classic MF is based on a combination of clinical presentation, histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and T-cell monoclonality detected by molecular studies. However, the diagnosis can be difficult in some cases. We report a case of hyperpigmented mycosis fungoides. A 60-year-old woman, phototype IV, pre...

Mogamulizumab induces cytotoxicity against CCR4+ lymphoma cells by antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity in advanced cutaneous T-cell lymphoma patients. Since the efficacy of mogamulizumab in mycosis fungoides (28.6%) is lower than that in Sézary syndrome (47.1%), reagents that enhance the antitumor immune response induced by mogamulizumab are needed to further optimize its use for the ...

To examine risk for mycosis among persons with silicosis, we examined US mortality data for 1979-2004. Persons with silicosis were more likely to die with pulmonary mycosis than were those without pneumoconiosis or those with more common pneumoconioses. Health professionals should consider enhanced risk for mycosis for silica-exposed patients.
