In this paper, we report the crystal structure of 2-[2-(diphenylphosphoryl)phenyl]-1H-perimidine (L1) obtained from ring closure reaction 1,8-diaminonaphthalene and 2-(diphenylphosphino)benzaldehyde, followed by dehydrogenation with sodium metabisulfite (Na2S2O5).
