bankruptcy in the same amount of time and history is very rampant and therefore the vision of the future can be prevented. using data envelopment analysis (dea) and malmquist index can precise evaluating of the performances of many different kinds of decision making units (dmu) such as hospitals, universities, business firms, etc. in this paper, we will modify directional distance formulation o...

Spatial relations play important role in computer vision, scene analysis, geographic information systems (GIS) and content based image retrieval. Analyzing spatial relations by Force histogram was introduced by Miyajima et al [10] and largely developed by Matsakis [12] who used a quantitative representation of relative position between 2D objects. Fuzzy Allen relations are used to define the fu...

A model of genotype-environment interaction in quantitative traits is considered. The model represents an expansion of the traditional additive (first degree polynomial) approximation of genotypic and environmental effects to a second degree polynomial incorporating a multiplicative term besides the additive terms. An experimental evaluation of the model is suggested and applied to a trait in D...

802.11 localization algorithms provide the ability to accurately position and track wireless clients thereby enabling location-based services and applications. However, we show that these localization techniques are vulnerable to non-cryptographic attacks where an adversary uses a low-cost directional antenna to appear from the localization algorithm’s perspective to be in another arbitrary loc...

INTRODUCTION Displacement measurement is an essential technique in the field of precision metrology and precision manufacturing. The linear encoder is the most popular displacement sensor for measurement of the position of a moving stage along the axis of motion. Many commercially available linear encoders, whose principles are based on interference and diffraction, can achieve nanometer-level ...

We improve theoretically and experimentally the problem of the coupling between a high Q-factor resonator and its external coupler. We have observed oscillations of ringing induced by the sweeping of the excitation frequency of an active micro sphere. Thanks to this approach, quality factor of an optical resonator was measured and we obtained Q = 5.8×10.

This paper argues from an Optimality Theory (OT; Prince & Smolensky 1991, 1993; McCarthy & Prince 1993a,b, 1994) perspective that no one-to-one correspondence exists between directional footing effects and individual constraints. Rather, the requirements of a single prosodic alignment constraint may result either in left-to-right or right-to-left footing, depending on its position in a constrai...
