Let $R$ be a commutative ring with identity and $I$ proper ideal of $R$. In this paper we introduce the ideal-based quasi zero divisor graph $Q\Gamma_{I}(R)$ respect to which is an undirected vertex set $V=\{a\in R\backslash\sqrt{I}:$ $ab\in I$ for some $b\in R\backslash\sqrt{I}\}$ two distinct vertices $a$ $b$ are adjacent if only I$. We study basic properties such as diameter, girth, dominato...

the zero-divisor graph of a commutative ring r with respect to nilpotent elements is a simple undirected graph $gamma_n^*(r)$ with vertex set z_n(r)*, and two vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if xy is nilpotent and xy is nonzero, where z_n(r)={x in r: xy is nilpotent, for some y in r^*}. in this paper, we investigate the basic properties of $gamma_n^*(r)$. we discuss when it will be eu...

In this paper, we determine the structures of zero-divisor semigroups whose graph is Kn + 1, the complete graph Kn together with an end vertex. We also present a formula to calculate the number of non-isomorphic zero-divisor semigroups corresponding to the complete graph Kn, for all positive integer n.

Baker and Norine introduced a graph-theoretic analogue of the Riemann-Roch theory. A central notion in this theory is the rank of a divisor. In this paper we prove that computing the rank of a divisor on a graph is NP-hard. The determination of the rank of a divisor can be translated to a question about a chip-firing game on the same underlying graph. We prove the NP-hardness of this question b...

The concept of the bipartite divisor graph for integer subsets has been considered in [M. A. Iranmanesh and C. E. Praeger, Bipartite divisor graphs for integer subsets, Graphs Combin., 26 (2010) 95–105.]. In this paper, we will consider this graph for the set of character degrees of a finite group G and obtain some properties of this graph. We show that if G is a solvable group, then the number...

For a commutative semigroup S with 0, the zero-divisor graph of S denoted by Γ(S) is the graph whose vertices are nonzero zero-divisor of S, and two vertices x, y are adjacent in case xy = 0 in S. In this paper we study the case where the graph Γ(S) is complete r-partite for a positive integer r. Also we study the commutative semigroups which are finitely colorable.

A metric graph is a geometric realization of a finite graph by identifying each edge with a real interval. A divisor on a metric graph Γ is an element of the free abelian group on Γ. The rank of a divisor on a metric graph is a concept appearing in the RiemannRoch theorem for metric graphs (or tropical curves) due to Gathmann and Kerber [7], and Mikhalkin and Zharkov [10]. We define a rank-dete...

Let R be a noncommutative ring. The zero-divisor graph of R, denoted by Γ(R), is the (directed) graph with vertices Z(R)∗ = Z(R)− {0}, the set of nonzero zero-divisors of R, and for distinct x, y ∈ Z(R)∗, there is an edge x → y if and only if xy = 0. In this paper we investigate the zero-divisor graph of triangular matrix rings over commutative rings. Mathematics Subject Classification: 16S70; ...
