The QCD sector of the system SANC is presented. QCD theoretical predictions for several processes of high energy interactions of fundamental particles at the one-loop precision level for up to some 3and 4-particle processes are implemented.
In theoretical physics, paradoxes are good. That’s paradoxical, since a paradox appears to be a contradiction, and contradictions imply serious error. But Nature cannot realize contradictions. When our physical theories lead to paradox we must find a way out. Paradoxes focus our attention, and we think harder. When David Gross and I began the work that led to this Nobel Prize [1, 2, 3, 4], in 1...
We present a broad review on black holes. We analyse some of the fundamental concepts in black hole theory, the observational and theoretical status of stellar and galactic black holes, and their appearance
Systems of free particles in a quantum theory based on a Galois field (GFQT) are discussed in detail. In this approach infinities cannot exist, the cosmological constant problem does not arise and one irreducible representation of the symmetry algebra necessarily describes a particle and its antiparticle simultaneously. As a consequence, well known results of the standard theory (spin-statistic...
The interaction of UHE neutrinos can be observed from outer space. The advantage of the proposed method is that the Earth can be used as an energy filter as well as a target. We sketch the potentials of these observations in searching for particle physics beyond the Standard Model of elementary particle interactions as well as observations of astronomical objects such as active galactic nuclei.
We investigate all the four-body graviton interaction processes: gX → γX, gX → gX, and gg → gg with X as an elementary particle of spin less than two in the context of linearized gravity except the spin-3/2 case. We show explicitly that gravitational gauge invariance and Lorentz invariance cause every four-body graviton scattering amplitude to be factorized. We explore the implications of this ...
Monte Carlo simulation is a very important class of stochastic methods for calculating thermal properties of many-particle systems—arguably these are the most important numerical techniques in statistical physics. Monte Carlo simulation methods are related to the elementary Monte Carlo integration methods that we discussed earlier, but are based on more efficient non-uniform sampling schemes. B...

In this paper it is found that the spin four-tensor S can be decomposed into two 4-vectors, the usual “space-space” intrinsic angular momentum S and a new one, the “time-space” intrinsic angular momentum Z, which are both equally well physical quantities. It is shown that an electric dipole moment (EDM) of a fundamental particle, as a four-dimensional geometric quantity, is determined by Z and ...
We present certain classical continuum long wave-length limits of prototype integrable quantum spin chains, and define the corresponding construction of classical continuum Lax operators. We also provide two specific examples, i.e. the isotropic and anisotropic Heisenberg models. ∗Proceedings contribution to the Corfu Summer Institute on Elementary Particle Physics and Gravity Workshop on Non C...
