Some problems arising during global reconstruction from time series are illustrated by reconstruction of etalon equations and modeling of real-world radiophysical systems. Efficiency of specialized approaches oriented to modeling of restricted classes of systems is demonstrated and new specific techniques are proposed.

The characteristics of diffraction efficiency and resolution of dichromated gelatin films derived from Agfa 8E75 HD plates by modified preparing and processing methods are presented. Using these films, fabricating of holographic Fabry-Perot etalon has been demonstrated and characteristic fringes of the Fabry-Perot effect have been observed.

A Fabry-Perot etalon placed in the object plane of a coherent optical processing system can be used as a variable bandpass preprocessing filter. Use of this filter leads to improved correlation signals in a matched spatial filter system. Experimental results are shown and compared with results obtained by two other preprocessing methods.
