It is well known that a Bers fiber space F (Γ) for a torsion free finitely generated Fuchsian group Γ of the first kind can be identified with a Teichmüller space. It is reported the quality control of Y11(200)MS aluminized bers with 600 ppm of UV Absorber used to equip the Module 0 barrel hadronic calorimeter for ATLAS. The optical properties and the reeectivity of the aluminization of the bers is presented. Also the ber to ber uctuations of the several parameters were studied.

The space of rational matrices with xed size and degree is shown to have a manifold structure with bers over a Grassmannian.
