the present article serves the purpose of pursuing geometrization of heat flow on volumetrically isothermal manifold by means of rf approach. in this article, we have analyzed the evolution of heat equation in a 3-dimensional smooth isothermal manifold bearing characteristics of riemannian manifold and fundamental properties of thermodynamic systems. by making use of the notions of various curva...
Here we apply a recently developed maximum likelihood method for determining best-fit parameterised lens models to observations of the rich lensing cluster Abell 1689. The observations that we use were taken with the ESO/MPG Wide Field Imager. The wide field-of-view enables us to use the weakly lensed images of faint background objects on an unsurpassed range of scales, 0.12 h−1 Mpc < R < 1.8 h...
A systematic study of the direct computation of the isothermal compressibility of normal quantum fluids is presented by analyzing the solving of the Ornstein-Zernike integral (OZ2) equation for the pair correlations between the path-integral necklace centroids. A number of issues related to the accuracy that can be achieved via this sort of procedure have been addressed, paying particular atten...
A new model for the postcollapse equilibrium structure of virialized objects which condense out of the cosmological background universe is described and compared with observations and simulations of cosmological halos. The model is based upon the assumption that virialized halos are isothermal, which leads to a prediction of a unique nonsingular isothermal sphere for the equilibrium structure, ...
We construct a model for the formation of black holes within galactic bulges. The initial state is a slowly rotating isothermal sphere, characterized by effective transport speed aeff and rotation rate Ω. The black hole mass is determined when the centrifugal radius of the collapse flow exceeds the capture radius of the central black hole. This model reproduces the observed correlation between ...
We determine the mass distribution of a spiral galaxy, 2237+0305 using both gravitational lensing and dynamical constraints. We find that lensing can break the disc-halo degeneracy. 2237+0305 has a sub-maximal disc, contributing 57±3 per cent of the rotational support at the disc maximum. The disc mass-to-light ratio is 1.1±0.2 in the I-band and the bulge, 2.9±0.5. The dark matter halo, modelle...
The density profiles and other quantities of physical interest for spherically symmetric systems are computed by assuming that a collisionless stellar gas may relax to the non-Gaussian power law distribution suggested by the nonex-tensive kinetic theory. There are two different classes of solutions. The first class behaves like a subset of the polytropic Lane-Emden spheres, whereas the second o...
Tidal radii of remote globular clusters (RGC > 35 kpc) are used to provide constraints of the mass profile of the Milky Way galaxy that are independent of kinematic data. The available data are consistent with the profile of an isothermal sphere with circular velocity Vc = 220 ± 40 km/s in the radial range 35 kpc 6 RGC 6 100 kpc, in good agreement with all recent estimates. The more robust cons...
