Nanomaterials find increasing application in communications, renewable energies, electronics and sensing. Because of its unsurpassed speed and highly tuneable interaction with matter, using light to guide the self-assembly of nanomaterials can open up novel technological frontiers. However, large-scale light-induced assembly remains challenging. Here we demonstrate an efficient route to nano-as...

The first lanthanide cation-templated synthesis of an interlocked structure is demonstrated through an interpenetrated assembly between a pyridine N-oxide threading component coordinating to a lanthanide cation complexed within a macrocycle. Stoppering of the pseudo-rotaxane assembly allows for preparation of the [2]rotaxane.

ant colony optimisation (aco) algorithm and adaptive refinement mechanism are used in this paper for solution of optimization problems. many of the real engineering problems are، however، of continuous nature and finding their solution by discrete ant based algorithms requires discretisation of the decision variables in which affected the convergence and performance of the algorithm. in this pa...

Putting the thread through eye of a needle is very ordinary issues in daily life. The mechanism putting quite similar to threading series polymer chains synthetic macrocycle bioscience. A new rubbing approach was proposed this paper, and its potential application fields biomechanics mechanobiology mimic micro scale assembly processes discussed.
