In the centrosymmetric dimeric title compound, [Cu(2)(C(3)H(6)NS(2))(4)], the Cu(II) atom is five-coordinate in a square-pyramidal environment. In this study, the adsorption of mercury ions by Sargassum bevanom (S. bevanom) by batch method was investigated.
