The efficient and environmentally friendly method for the one-pot synthesis of polyhydroquinolines has been developed in the presence of CuO nanoparticles. The multi-component reactions of aldehydes, dimedone, ethyl acetoacetate andammonium acetate were carried out under solvent-free conditions to afford some polyhydroquinoline derivatives. This method provides several advantages including high...
In this study, multi component Hantzsch reaction was carried out between various Aromatic Aldehyde with Dimedone,Ethyl acetateand ammonium acetate to produce polyhydroquinolinederivatives under solvent-free conditions at 110oC by a (Zinc oxide nanocatalyst) as effective Lewis acid. The remarkable advantages offered by this method compared with other methods are a green catalyst, simple work-u...

Phosphorus pentoxide used on alumina (P2O5/Al2O3) as an inexpensive, eco-friendly and non-toxic acid catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenes via multi-component reactions under solvent-free conditions. The present approach offers several advantages such as short reaction times, high yields, easy purification, recovery and reusability of the catalyst.
The multicomponent reactions (MCRs) produce one compound from three or more reactants. Due to the innumerable combination possibilities of reagents, MCRs are popular because their simplicity and versatility. In this research, an one-pot three-components reaction was carried out between 1,3-diethyl barbituric acid, malononitrile, aldehydes in presence Cu/Co/Ni/MWCNTs as a recyclable catalyst. Th...
Title of Dissertation: CHALLENGES AND RESILIENCE IN THE LIVES OF MULTIRACIAL ADULTS: THE DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF A MEASURE Nazish M. Salahuddin, Doctor of Philosophy, 2008 Directed By: Associate Professor Karen M. O’Brien, Department of Psychology The purpose of the present study was to develop and validate the Multiracial Challenges and Resilience Scale (MCRS). The MCRS is a measure of t...
Multicomponent reactions involving polyfunctional 4-amino-5-carboxamido-1,2,3-triazole and cyclic carbonyl-containing CH-acids were studied under conventional thermal heating, microwave and ultrasonic irradiation. The features of the reactions studied were discussed and the optimized procedures for the synthesis of final triazolopyrimidines were elaborated. In contrast to the similar MCRs of nu...
