The aim of this paper is to correct results from the published paper: A companion Ostrowski Type Integral Inequality Using a 5-Step Kernel with Some Applications, Filomat 30:13 (2016), 3601-3614.

We consider the Steffensen–Hayashi inequality and remainder identity for V-fractional differentiable functions involving six parameters truncated Mittag–Leffler function Gamma function. In view of these, we obtain some integral inequalities Steffensen, Hermite–Hadamard, Chebyshev, Ostrowski, Grüss type to calculus.

The classical Ostrowski inequality for functions on intervals estimates the value of the function minus its average in terms of the maximum of its first derivative. This result is extended to higher order over shells and balls of R , N ≥ 1, with respect to an extended complete Tschebyshev system and the generalized radial derivatives of Widder type. We treat radial and non-radial functions.

In this paper, by introducing a technique of parameter functions, we establish a new Ostrowski type inequality on time scales and unify corresponding continuous and discrete versions. An approximation of the Stieltjes integral of bounded integrals and continuous integrators via the Darst-Pollard inequality is given. Applications for the generalised trapezoid formula and the Ostrowski inequality for functions of bounded variation are also provided.
