Many countries are developing Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs) to improve access, sharing and the integration of spatial data and services. However the challenge of designing, building and managing an SDI draws on many different disciplines and requires the examination of a large number of factors and issues. In this regard, the comparison and evaluation of SDIs can help to better understand...
A program for converting Noldus Observer data files (ODF) to sequential data interchange standard (SDIS) files is described. Observer users who convert their data files can then take advantage of various flexible and powerful data modification and computational procedures available in the Generalized Sequential Querier, a program that assumes SDIS-formatted files.
in this paper, we introduce the notion of derivation on krasner hyperrings as follows: the function d : r r isa derivation on a krasner hyperring r if for all , , ry x ) ( ) ( = ) ( y d x d y x d andd (x y) d (x) y x d ( y). then, we investigate some fundamental properties of derivation on krasnerhyperings and prime krasner hyperrings. also, we introduce differential krasner hy...
BACKGROUND The significance of occlusive lesions of the parent artery in patients with lacunar syndrome (LS) and small deep infarcts (SDIs) on diffusion-weighted imaging remains unclear. OBJECTIVE To compare the recurrence of stroke in patients with LS and SDIs between those with vs without a parent arterial lesion. DESIGN Analysis of data from a prospective acute stroke registry. SETTING...
Australia is one of the very few countries in the world that has relatively mature regional SDIs. This is largely due to its institutional context. This paper describes some of the main features of Australia’s institutional context and examines three data sharing partnership projects that have been developed in three Australian states. The last section discusses the relevance of the findings of...
In this note we introduce a new equivalence relation θ∗ on a (semi)hyperring R and we show that it is strongly regular. Also we prove that, R/θ∗, the equivalence class of this equivalence relation under usual operations consists a commutative (semi-)ring. Finally we introduce the notion of θ-parts of hyperrings and investigate the important properties of them. Mathematics Subject Classification...
