We count the number of alignments of N ≥ 1 sequences when match-up types are from a specified set S ⊆ N . Equivalently, we count the number of nonnegative integer matrices whose rows sum to a given fixed vector and each of whose columns lie in S. We provide a new asymptotic formula for the case S = {(s1, . . . , sN ) | 1 ≤ si ≤ 2}.

This paper presents three new sets of frequency hopping sequences, which are converted into sequences for CDMA. One of the CDMA sequence families is optimal with respect to theWelch bound, and two are nearly optimal. Our sequences are available for more lengths, and have much higher linear complexity than other CDMA sequences. They have a similar structure to the small Kasami set, but are balan...

buckling instability is the most important factor at columns failune. icauses large deflection and mostly is analysed by first yield criterion. due fo some difficulties in application of the criterion, soecially in inelastic columns, a new method, namely geometric criterion is introduced in this paper to improve the buckling analysis of real columns. in this research project a number box- secti...

Governmental offices are still highly concerned with controlling the escalation of forest fires due to their social, environmental and economic consequences. This paper presents new developments a previously implemented system for classification smoke columns object detection deep learning-based approach. The study focuses on identifying correcting several False Positive cases while only obtain...

The mainshock (MS) is often accompanied by a number of aftershocks (AS). existence AS may cause the seismic demand to be greater than MS. In order better evaluate impact AS, this paper takes RC columns as research object and performs incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) on actual recorded mainshock-aftershocks (MS-AS). Park–Ang model damage index are used quantify effect MS respectively. fragilit...

Evaluation and Comparison of Behavior of Steel Jacketed RC Columns with Circular and Square Sections under Blast Loading Reinforced concrete (RC) structures are widely used in urban buildings and infrastructures, and these are always subjected to explosions caused by intentional or unintentional accidents. Among the structural members, columns are key load carrier elements. In this paper, b...

concrete filled steel tube columns (cfst) are a kind of composite columns according to advantages of cfst relative to reinforced concrete and steel columns. use of these materials is common in recent years especially in high building, unnecessary of molding, high ductility, proportionate resistance with low volume, economical, low deformation relative to steel columns are among advantages. in t...

Fiber reinforced Polymers (FRP) have widely used for the purposes of enhances strength and ductility of concrete columns. Proper design of such hybrid columns, however, requires a better recognition of the behavior of concrete columns confined with FRP. In this paper, the influence of FRP thickness, concrete compressive strength, and column size on the performance of eccentrically loaded reacti...

This paper presents a numerical investigation on seismic performance of reinforced concrete (RC) cantilever columns under unidirectional and bidirectional excitations. The influence cross-sectional geometry multiple excitations have been examined in this study. An advanced nonlinear finite element model is employed to different failure modes RC excitation. simulates degradation materials cyclic...

Design and analysis of distillation columns usually takes place by using rigorous equilibrium models, where efficiencies are utilized to enhance the designs obtained and have a better approach to the real performance of the column. A second alternative, based on the mass and heat transfer rates, has been proposed and it is known as the non-equilibrium (or rate-based) model. By employing this ap...
