The main result is to show that the space of nonmonotonic fuzzy measures on a measurable space (X,X) with total variation norm is separable if and only if the -algebra X is a finite set. This paper gives an overview on recent development in fuzzy information measures. After some preliminaries, we summarize briefly some fuzzy entropy measures and their generalizations. The generalizations reviewed are useful for further development in fuzzy information measures.
