Information on an organism's body size is pivotal in understanding its life history and fitness, as well as helping inform conservation measures. However, for many species, particularly large-bodied wild animals, taking accurate body size measurements can be a challenge. Various means to estimate body size have been employed, from more direct methods such as using photogrammetry to obtain heigh...

The aim of the present study was to derive multiple regression equations for in vivo estimation of the carcass lean and fat content in Muscovy ducks. The experimental materials consisted of 240 White Muscovy ducklings (120 male and 120 female). One hundred sixteen females aged 10 wk and 112 males aged 12 wk were slaughtered. Before slaughter the ducks were weighed, and the following body measur...

Body weight and nine morphostructural characters (withers height, rump height, heart girth, body length, head width, cannon circumference, shoulder width, rump width and rump length) of 83 White Fulani cows aged 1.5-2.4 years old were used to study the problem of multicollinearity instability in the estimation of body weight from morphological indices. Pairwise phenotypic correlations indicated...

My research revolves around structural and extremal aspects of Graph Theory, particularly problems involving girth and distance, trees, cycles in graphs, and some variations of Ramsey theory. I have also done some work in generalized graph colorings and graph labellings. My other interests include graph decomposi-tions and packings, perfect graphs, matching theory, hypergraphs and coding theory...
