The US scientific workforce is not representative of the population. Our analysis utilizes millions papers to study relationship between scientists and science they produce. We find a strong characteristics their research topics, suggesting that diversity changes portfolio with consequences for career advancement minoritized individuals.

In this reply, I reflect on the various ways in which ‘Fisherian’ spatial imaginaries develop original article can engage conceptually with my respondents’ constructive criticism, as well posing a range of questions to their variegated postcapitalist concerns.
