Eleven microsatellite loci were isolated and characterized for the intertidal copepod Tigriopus californicus . Primers reliably amplify alleles in inbred lines derived from two divergent populations previously shown to have genetic distances of 18% for the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I gene.
