In this paper, the problem of delay dependent robust asymptotically stable for uncertain linear time-variant system with multiple delays is investigated. A new delay-dependent stability sufficient condition is given by using the Lyapunov method, linear matrix inequality (LMI), parameterized first-order model transformation technique and transformation of the interval uncertainty in to the norm ...

This paper considers differential linear repetitive processes which are a distinct class of two-dimensional continuous-discrete linear systems of both physical and systems theoretic interest. The substantial new results are on the application of linear-matrix-inequality-based tools to stability analysis and controller design for these processes, where the class of control laws used has a well d...

The robust stabilization is studied for two dimensions discrete time singular systems described by the second FornasiniMarchesini models (2-D SFMMII) with uncertainty parameters. A new sufficient condition of the robust stabilization of 2-D SFMM-II is presented. Based on this new criterion a desired state feedback controller can be constructed by solving a set of linear matrix inequality (LMI) ...

The guaranteed cost-control problem for uncertain linear systems which have delay in both state and control input is considered. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed cost controllers are given in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). It is shown that the state feedback controllers can be obtained by solving the LMI.

In this paper, an observer-based sampled-data controller of linear system is proposed for the wave energy converter. Based on the sampled-data observer, the controller is design. In the closed-loop system with controller, it obtains the norm inequality between the continuous-time state variable and the discrete-time one. Using the norm inequality, sufficient condition is derived for the asympto...

In this note we report on a new kind of algebraic Ric-cati equation which we encountered when studying an H 1 type problem of disturbance attenuation for stochastic linear systems. The same equation occurs in the analysis of stability radii of linear systems with both deterministic and stochastic uncertainties. The associated linear matrix inequality is also considered.

This paper deals with the problem of observer-based stabilization for linear systems with parameter inequality. A new design methodology is proposed thanks to a judicious use of the famous Young relation. This latter leads to a less restrictive synthesis condition, expressed in term of Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI), than those available in the literature. Numerical comparisons are provided in ...

⎯By employing the Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, delaydependent stability criterion is derived to ensure the exponential stability of bi-directional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying delays. The proposed condition can be checked easily by LMI control toolbox in Matlab. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness...

----------------------------------------************************---------------------------------Abstract: A class of coupled neural networks with different internal time-delays and coupling delays is investigated, which consists of nodes of different dimensions. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functions and using the linear matrix inequality, the criteria of exponential stabilization for the...

In this paper, the problem of asymptotical stability of neutral systems with nonlinear perturbations is investigated. Based on a class of novel augment Lyapunov functionals which contain freeweighting matrices, some new delay-dependent asymptotical stability criteria are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using new inequality analysis technique. Numerical examples are g...
