Suspensions of isolated liver cells were incubated with [3H]leucine as a precursor. The appearance of radioactive albumin and alpha 1-acid glycoprotein in the incubation medium was determined. After about 20 min both albumin and alpha 1-acid glycoprotein were secreted in a linear way.
