Efficient electrocatalytic CO2 reduction requires developing catalysts with high selectivities and activities, which is simultaneously difficult to achieve. Here, we present a new approach tune the activity based on host-guest chemistry enabled by an iron porphyrin cage catalyst. The design allows hosting of alkali metals in side walls causing change electrostatic potential inside cavity. Densi...
In this paper, we report our semantic tagging tool for spoken dialogue corpus. This tagging tool can acquire analysis rules using Transformation-based Learning (TBL) from small scale training corpus. It can learn dialogue act tagging rules and semantic frame tagging rules. The precisions are 72% in dialogue act tagging and 58% of semantic frame tagging in open test.
Abstract A fundamental assumption of mark‐recapture studies is that individuals do not lose their marks or tags, because tag loss can lead to biased parameter estimates. Retention 8‐mm full‐duplex and 12‐mm half‐duplex passive integrated transponder (PIT) tags implanted in the abdomen, opercular musculature, dorsal sinus age‐0+ hatchery male brook trout ( Salvelinus fontinalis ) was evaluated l...
Herein we describe the first application of direct linear analysis (DLA) to the mapping of a bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC), specifically the 185.1 kb-long BAC 12M9. DLA is a single molecule mapping technology, based on microfluidic elongation and interrogation of individual DNA molecules, sequence-specifically tagged with bisPNAs. A DNA map with S/N ratio sufficiently high to detect all...
We describe an experiment investigating how tagging affects human memory. We compare a low-cost tagging by mouse-clicking interface (Click2Tag) to traditional tagging by typing and to a baseline, no tagging condition. Our results suggest that tagging is beneficial for memory. However, the two tagging methods impact distinct aspects of memory: tagging by typing promotes elaboration of read conte...
Collaborative tagging is increasingly drawing attention as a promising source of taxonomic information; it is often referred to as folksonomy. A tag is information that is added to a resource (such as pictures, a web page, or blog entries); a tag can be represented as an RDF statement. However, no explicit study has been undertaken to bridge the gap between annotated tags and RDF statements. Th...
Single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) tagging is widely used as a way of saving genotyping costs in association studies. A number of different tagging methods have been developed to reduce the number of markers to be genotyped while maintaining power for detecting effects on non-assayed SNPs. How the different methods perform in different settings, the degree to which they overlap and share comm...
Abstract The recent COVID-19 pandemic with its countermeasures, e.g. lock-downs, resulted in decreases emissions of various trace gases. Here we investigate the changes ozone over Europe associated these emission reductions using a coupled global/regional chemistry climate model. We conducted and analysed business as usual sensitivity (COVID19) simulation. A source apportionment (tagging) techn...
Thai part of speech (POS) tagging is a challenged problem in natural language processing. Many techniques including artificial neural network techniques are suggested for POS tagging. Research works in Thai POS tagging so far only focused on assigning word types, but not word features. This paper proposed a technique using multilayer perception for tagging word features in Thai sentences. The f...
