In this study an observer-based novel design of robust control system with an estimate scheme of sensor states to accommodate extended bounded-sensor faults is proposed. The sensor faults are, in general, modeled as polytopic bounds in robust control framework and are usually given as a priori assumption. But, in practice, the sensors that are subject to faults are especially vulnerable to vari...

this paper presents a stable new algorithm for force/position control in robot manipulators. in this algorithm, position vectors are measured by sensors and then used in the control law. since using force sensor has some issues such as high costs and technical problems, an approach is presented to overcome these issues. in this respect, force sensor is replaced by an adaptive fuzzy estimator to...

this work proposes a neural-fuzzy sliding mode control scheme for a hydro-turbine speed governor system. considering the assumption of elastic water hammer, a nonlinear mode of the hydro-turbine governor system is established. by linearizing this mode, a sliding mode controller is designed. the linearized mode is subject to uncertainties. the uncertainties are generated in the process of linear...

An adaptive control system with a first-order plant and the so-called cr-modification adaptation law is analyzed in the case of periodic disturbance or reference input. The local bifurcations of the low-period solutions are numerically detected by means of a continuation method, and the different modes of behavior are classified as well as the transitions among them. As predicted by the theory,...

this paper investigates on control and stabilization of a new hyperchaotic system. the hyperchaotic system is stabilized using a new technique which called generalized backstepping method (gbm). because of its similarity to backstepping approach, this method is called gbm. but, this method is more applicable in comparison with conventional backstepping.  backstepping method is used only for sys...

In this paper, we study the design and analysis of adaptive control systems over wireless networks using event-triggering control theory. The proposed event-triggered adaptive control methodology schedules the data exchange dependent upon errors exceeding userdefined thresholds to reduce wireless network utilization and guarantees system stability and command following performance in the presen...

In this paper, based on the off-axis circle criterion, a sufficient condition with a simple graphical explanation is derived to analyze the global asymptotic stability of a type of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy control systems in case of different constant reference inputs. Three numerical examples are given to demonstrate how to use the proposed method in analyzing the T-S fuzzy control systems.

smart home is composed of several controllers with different plants in control. if each controller works independently, without considering the mutual effect of the others in the control process, the whole system could definitely not converge to an optimum desired status and may not ever reach the demanded condition. the function of different controller system may has conflict in some condition...

The topic of this paper is optimal input signal design for identification of interconnected/networked dynamic systems. We consider the case when it is only possible to design some of the input signals, while the rest of the inputs are only measurable. This is most common in industrial applications, where external excitation can only be applied to some subsystems. One example is feed-forward con...
