In this paper, we investigate the Fourier transform of self-similar measures on R. We provide quantitative decay rates some measures. Our method is based random walks lattices and Diophantine approximation in number fields. also completely identify all sets which are uniqueness. This generalizes a classical result Salem Zygmund.
