近年、日本ではオープンカフェのプロジェクトが注目されている。しかし、オープンカフェのデザインや設計手法に関する論文はほとんど発表されていない。そこで、本調査では、オープンカフェに適したデザインを明らかにすることを目的とした。本調査では、画像を用いたパーティションごとの座席選択アンケートと、3DCGを用いた床面の変化による座席選択アンケートを採用した。実験の結果、パーティションによって席の選択傾向が異なることがわかった。また、CGを用いたアンケートでは、床面の変化による座席選択傾向の大きな変化は見られなかったが、オブジェクトが座席選択に大きな影響を与える可能性があることが明らかになった。
