In this paper we describe the University of Amsterdam’s participation in the INEX 2005 adhoc track. Our main research questions for this round of INEX were to investigate selective indexing strategies and different methods for using structural constraints in queries. As a side question, we did experiment with the automatic creation of structured queries.

An environment for visualising object oriented program execution providing concrete and abstract views of program structure and behaviour is described. Of particular novelty are dynamic views using a road map metaphor.
