We report the fabrication of BiOCl nanoflake film by a simple and reliable hydrolysis of BiCl(3) ethanol solution at room temperature. A simple and one-step method to form a rough ZnO layer consisting of micro/nanoscale hierarchical structures via direct femtosecond laser ablation of the Zn surface is reported for the first time.
