The purpose of this paper is to establish a common fixed point theorem for pairs of weakly compatible maps in dislocated metric space which generalizes and improves similar fixed point results. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25.

A common fixed point theorem using EA-property for four weakly compatible maps is obtained in the setting of Gmetric spaces without exploiting the notion of continuity. Our results generalize the results of Abbas and Rhoades[7], and Manro et. al.[11]. Moreover, we show that these maps satisfy property R. Applications to certain intergral equations and functional equations are also obtained.

Recently, Sandeep Bhatt et.al [12] proved common fixed theorem for four self maps satisfying some contraction principles on a complex valued metric spaces.
