دو گونه جدید از جنس Allium به نامهای : A. esfandiarii از شمال غربی ایران و A. wendelboi از غرب ایران نامگذاری و معرفی می‌گردند. گونه‌های نزدیک به گونه‌های جدید مورد توجه قرار گرفته و اختلافاتشان مورد بررسی قرار می‌گیرد.
