Abstract. In this paper we consider the linear second order partial differential equation with non-constant coefficients; then by using the double convolution product we produce new equations with polynomials coefficients and we classify the new equations. It is shown that the classifications of hyperbolic and elliptic new equations are similar to the original equations that is the classificati...

We study the macroscopic behavior of an elastic-viscoelastic mixture, in the non penodic case The oscillating problem présents an elastic term and a short memory term At the macroscopic level a long memory term, of the convolution type, also appears The mam re suit consists in establishing the limit équation and charactenzing Us coefficients in terms of the oscillations of the domains occupied ...

semilinear stochastic evolution equations with multiplicative l'evy noise are considered‎. ‎the drift term is assumed to be monotone nonlinear and with linear growth‎. ‎unlike other similar works‎, ‎we do not impose coercivity conditions on coefficients‎. ‎we establish the continuous dependence of the mild solution with respect to initial conditions and also on coefficients. ‎as corollarie...

Two basic tools of free probability are the R-transform and the S-transform. These transforms were introduced by Voiculescu in the 1980s, and are used to understand the addition and the multiplication of two free random variables respectively. The R-transform has a natural and very useful multi-variable extension describing the addition of two free k-tuples of random variables, but the problem ...

abstract zinc (zn) is an essential plant nutrient. knowledge about distribution of zn between its different chemical forms is useful in understanding the chemistry of this element in soil and also in development of soil testing procedures. the present study was conducted to obtain such information about distribution of zinc forms in 20 soil samples of lorestan province by the use of a sequentia...

this article presents a unified approach to the abstract notions of partial convolution and involution in $l^p$-function spaces over semi-direct product of locally compact groups. let $h$ and $k$ be locally compact groups and $tau:hto aut(k)$ be a continuous homomorphism.  let $g_tau=hltimes_tau k$ be the semi-direct product of $h$ and $k$ with respect to $tau$. we define left and right $tau$-c...

We present results for two-loop QCD corrections to the short distance coefficient that governs leptonic decay of Bc-meson. After brief discussion of the technics of asymptotic expansion used to perform this calculation, we give comments on the numerical value of two-loop corrections and its impact on NRQCD description of Bc-meson bound state.

In [15], Hoffstein and Hulse defined the shifted convolution series of two cusp forms by “shifting” the usual Rankin-Selberg convolution L-series by a parameter h. We use the theory of harmonic Maass forms to study the behavior in h-aspect of certain values of these series and prove a polynomial bound as h → ∞. Our method relies on a result of Mertens and Ono [22], who showed that these values ...

We establish Lp bounds on L2 normalized spectral clusters for selfadjoint elliptic Dirichlet forms with Lipschitz coefficients. In two dimensions we obtain best possible bounds for all 2 ≤ p ≤ ∞, up to logarithmic losses for 6 < p ≤ 8. In higher dimensions we obtain best possible bounds for a limited range of p.
