In a large health insurance database, incidence of anogenital warts among 15 to 19 years old females decreased from 316/100,000 person-years in 2007 to 242 in 2008 (23% reduction, p=0.0001). The decrease started between the 1 and 2 quarter of 2007 (HPV vaccination was introduced in March 2007).
