The investigation of mixing phenomena and lifetime in neutral B meson systems provides an important testing ground for standard model flavour dynamics. Spectroscopic parameters has been used to calculate the pseudoscalar decay constant and predictions of mixing mass parameters and lifetimes of the Bd and Bs mesons.
We consider the upward-going muon flux due to the WIMP annihilations in the cores of the sun and the earth, including the upper bound on the branching ratio for Bs → μμ decay. We find that the constraint from Bs → μμ is very strong in most parameter space, and exclude the supergravity parameter space regions where the expected upward-going muon fluxes are within the expected reach of AMANDA II.
