東京電力福島第一原子力発電所事故から約10年間の厚生労働省による食品中の放射性セシウム（134Cs+137Cs）濃度モニタリングデータの経時変化について，2012年4月1日から使われている食品中の放射性物質に関する基準値を元にした超過率で分析した。牛肉全頭検査数は全測定検査数の59％以上を占め，結果に影響するために除外して評価したところ，2014年以降の基準値超過率は1％未満であった。2018年以降においては野生鳥獣肉，自然の山菜とキノコを除けば，基準値を超過することはほぼ無くなった。一般の人々が消費する自然食材の量は少ないので，これらの食材による内部被ばく線量は限定的であると推定された。
