56 malignant bone neoplasms (15 primary and 41 metastatic), diagnosed by fine-needle aspiration biopsy, are reported. 100% diagnostic accuracy was achieved. The results indicate that fine-needle aspiration biopsy can be a substitute for open surgical biopsy in selected cases.
