In this study, electro-thermo-mechanical nonlinear vibration and instability of embedded piezoelectric micro-tube is carried out based on nonlocal theory and nonlinear Donnell's shell model. The smart micro-tube made of Poly-vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is conveying an isentropic, incompressible fluid. The detailed parametric study is conducted, focusing on the remarkable effects of mean flow vel...
isolated carbon nanotubes (cnts), cnt films and cnt-polymer nanocomposites are a new generation of materials with outstanding mechanical, thermal, electrical and electromagnetic properties. the main objective of this article is to provide a comprehensive review on the investigations performed in the field of characterizing electrical and electromagnetic properties of isolated cnts and cnt-reinf...
Nanotechnology is a favorite research area that revolutionized mechanical and chemical properties of materials. Recently, focusing on concrete as a porous material with micro-scale and nano-scale pores enthusiastic researchers developed their investigations to find out microstructure and mechanical properties of concrete. The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of nano-silica as an a...
In this work, nonlocal vibration of double of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) system conveying fluid coupled by visco-Pasternak medium is carried out based on nonlocal elasticity theory where CNTs are placed in uniform temperature change and magnetic field. Considering Euler-Bernoulli beam (EBB) model and Knudsen number, the governing equations of motion are discretized and Ritz method is applied to ob...

In this report we present the detail theory of the focusing in bent crystals using the statistical mechanics. The quantum mechanical effects for focusing and abberations are not considered. The beam structure in phase space are consedered and envelope near the focusing spot and intensity profile are derived.
