Recently, a number of reports have been published on silicosis in workers exposed to artificial quartz conglomerates containing high levels of crystalline silica particles (70-90%) used in the construction of kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Three cases of silicosis in workers exposed to artificial quartz conglomerates are reported. The diagnosis was derived from both the International Labour Off...
The gold(I)-catalyzed hydroarylation of cyclohexa-1,3-dienes bearing an aryl group and a gem-diester in the tether proceeds in a 1,4-addition manner and in a diastereoselective fashion to afford perhydrophenanthrene rings. The reaction proceeded via attack of the aryl group onto the gold-activated cyclic dienes followed by rearomatization and protodeauration to generate perhydrophenanthrenes in...
The Tarim and Junggar basins in central Asia are capped by a thick pile of conglomerates, called the Xiyu Formation, that are commonly linked to a change in climate and/or accelerated uplift near the Plio-Pleistocene boundary. In order to better understand their origin and significance, we carried out a combined structural and magnetostratigraphic study in the Quilitage syncline (southern Tians...
Andarian area is located north of Tabriz city, north west Iran, and tectonically is a part of Ahar-Arasbaran magmatic belt. Geology of the area includes Miocene shallow pluton, Cretaceous flysch-type sediments, metamorphic rocks )hornfels and skarn( and volcanic rocks. Mineralization occurred in two stages: primary and secondary. The primary ore minerals include Au, pyrite and stibnite. Malachi...
A novel method for synthesizing polymer nanopods from a linear polymer bearing pendant propargyl ether groups, using gold nanoparticles as both the template and the catalyst for the cross-linking reaction, is reported. The transformations involved in the cross-linking process are unprecedented on the surface of a gold particle. A tentative cross-linking mechanism is proposed.
Light-driven Au(III)-promoted oxidative cleavage of triazole-bearing amine derivatives is utilized for the detection of ionic gold in aqueous media. A bistriazole-bearing boron dipyrromethane (1(BODIPY)) exhibited selective and sensitive fluorescence enhancement by the addition of Au(3+) and subsequent UV irradiation.
Laboratory studies have been carried out on the processing of gold-bearing concentrate from “Jamgyr” deposit using JIN CHAN reagent. The influence concentration CHAN, duration leaching, temperature solution were studied. As a result research, extraction gold and silver into cyanide-free technology was 97,5% 96%, respectively. obtained solutions by method sorption MA940BG (gold) ion-exchange res...
We show that the value of corporate diversification increased during the 2007–2009 financial crisis. Diversification gave firms both financing and investment advantages. First, conglomerates became significantly more leveraged relative to comparable focused firms. Second, conglomerates’ access to internal capital markets became more valuable not just because external capital markets became more...
The enzyme silicatein has been bioengineered to carry a thiol-bearing Au-affinity tag (Cys-tag) for direct immobilization on gold carriers in shortest time without the need for prior surface functionalization. Through microcontact printing, defined silicatein micropatterns were created on gold surfaces, facilitating the subsequent enzymatically controlled synthesis of photocatalytically active ...
