In this note we present a brief overview of variational methods to solve homogenization problems. The purpose is to give a first insight on the subject by presenting some fundamental theoretical tools, both classical and modern. We conclude by mentioning some open problems.

A novel method named as submicron-dot-array (SDA) doping is developed for the fabrication of low-temperature polycrystallinesilicon thin film transistors (TFTs). All electrical parameters are improved by employing SDA structure. It is worth mentioning that the mobility of fabricated device is 4 times of conventional TFTs. The proposed SDA method has great potential for system-onpanel applications.

From the fact that the unique solution of a homogeneous linear algebraic system is the trivial one we can obtain the existence of a solution of the nonhomogeneous system. Coefficients of the systems considered are elements of the Colombeau algebra of generalized real numbers. It is worth mentioning that the algebra is not a field.

There are limitations of this study note mentioning such as method of compression, role of propulsion, defining those patients who are at risk of prophylaxis and future studies.

This article is a review of the book “Biomedical Signal and Image Processing” by Kayvan Najarian and Robert Splinter, which is published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group. It will evaluate the contents of the book and discuss its suitability as a textbook, while mentioning highlights of the book, and providing comparison with other textbooks.

In this article, we present two infinite-dimensional matrices whose entries are recursively defined, and show that the sequence of their principal minors form the Lucas sequence; that is, (2, 1, 3, 4, 7, . . .). It is worth mentioning that to construct these matrices we use nonhomogeneous recurrence relations.

In this paper, we introduce the interested reader to homological mirror symmetry. After recalling a little background knowledge, we tackle the simplest cases of homological mirror symmetry: curves of genus zero and one. We close by outlining the current state of the field and mentioning what homological mirror symmetry has to say about other aspects of mirror symmetry.
