The modiclus, a relative of the prenucleolus, assigns a singleton to any cooperative TU game. We show that the modiclus selects a member of the core for any exact orthogonal game and for any assignment game that has a stable core. Moreover, by means of an example we show that there is an exact TU game with a stable core that does not contain the modiclus.

Systems that involve more than one decision maker are often optimized using the theory of games. In the traditional game theory, it is assumed that each player has a well-defined quantitative utility function over a set of the player decision space. Each player attempts to maximize minimize his her own expected utility and each is assumed to know the extensive game in full. At present, it canno...

The multicriteria approach deals with real-life applications of game theory. However, the existing game-theoretic statements joint analysis resource extraction and pollution dynamics have not considered multiple objectives players. To address this issue, a dynamic is proposed: many players exploit common seek to optimize different criteria under externalities. Two interconnected state variables...

This paper presents a multicriteria analysis approach for evaluating knowledge management (KM) effectiveness in the university’s administration. A framework is presented for identifying important properties to be considered in the KM evaluation process. A fuzzy multicriteria analysis algorithm is developed for evaluating KM effectiveness in the university’s administration. As a result, the KM e...

The concept of trapezoidal valued hesitant fuzzy set is introduced. Notion for distance between any two trapezoidal valued hesitant fuzzy elements is given. Using this proposed distance measure, we extend the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution for trapezoidal valued hesitant fuzzy sets. An example is constructed to show usefulness of this extension for multicriteria ...

The main objective of this work is to use the defining principles of the core solution concept to determine not only payoffs but coalition formation. Given a cooperative transferable utility (TU) game, we propose two non-cooperative procedures that deliver a natural and non-empty core extension, the aspiration core (Cross 1967, Bennett 1983), together with the supporting coalitions it implies. ...

Nowadays high fuzzy utility based pattern mining is an emerging topic in data mining. It refers to discover all patterns having a high utility meeting a user-specified minimum high utility threshold. It comprises extracting patterns which are highly accessed in mobile web service sequences. Different from the traditional fuzzy approach, high fuzzy utility mining considers not only counts of mob...

In this paper the ranking method for intuitionistic fuzzy numbers is studied. The authors first define a possibility degree formula to compare two intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. In comparison with Chen and Tan’s score function, the possibility degree formula provides additional information for the comparison of two intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Based on the possibility degree formula, the author...

Green supplier selection involves a difficult and complex decision-making process because the criteria have relationship with each other. Due to conflicts, becomes crucial. Likewise, strategies among alternatives are critical decide best one. To overcome these difficulties, multi-criteria decision making methods game theory approaches appropriate. In this study, fuzzy SWARA, which is multicrite...

We consider cooperative games with transferable utility (TU-games), in which we allow for a social structure on any coalition, for instance a network, a hierarchical ordering or a dominance relation. For every coalition the relative strength of a player within that coalition is induced by its social structure and is measured by a power function. We call a payoff vector socially stable if there ...
